The pictures were sexy, he gave him that. A dark-haired, bearded guy with a rug on his chest was impaling a smooth, pale guy from behind, expressions of ecstasy perfectly captured on their faces. Scenes from a porno, or just staged for the photograph, Aaron couldn’t be sure. All he knew was that his cock was starting to thicken. He flipped a page, saw that same furry guy going down on a huge black cock. Aaron fingered his cock, suddenly staring at himself in the mirror. Did he even recognize himself, the smooth, waxed chest, the emptiness inside his eyes. Danvers Converse had robbed him of not just his sexuality, but his soul, and he failed to see himself in the reflection.

He made a decision right then and there.

No more giving in to Danvers’ demands.

No more letting other people dictate his life.

Aaron’s loyalties would lie with himself, and, if he would have him, with Paolo.

Aaron turned another page of the magazine, saw the hairy guy getting fucked by the black guy, that huge cock piercing furry ass cheeks.

Aaron soaped his hand for lube, and then he attacked his hard cock with a passion he hadn’t felt in some time. He closed his eyes and thought of himself and Paolo from a couple months ago, Aaron’s body before all the waxing, his naturally hairy self taking Paolo all night long, with his lover begging, crying, saying he wanted no other man, that Aaron was the one and only man to satisfy him.

Just then Aaron’s cock expanded, the tip growing until hot, white come shot out. He caught every drop in his hands, and then seconds later, breathing heavily from his climax, washed the sticky come beneath the faucet. He watched the results of his passion slide down the drain, and he hoped that wasn’t a metaphor for what was still to come.

Paolo Bautista stared at the water, watching as gentles waves lapped against the shore. The beach beneath Eldon Court held so many memories for him: picnics at night next to a roaring fire, Aaron sucking his cock while stars twinkled above. Romantic nights that fueled their passions, and it was those moments he missed the most. Now Aaron was distracted, first by work, second by the battle looming for the future of Eldon Court; the two things linked now by the machinations of Danvers Converse. He knew the ruthless man held some kind of dominating power over Aaron, not that his lover was talking, so Paolo was left in the dark to jerk off to dirty magazines and remembrances of more recent sexual encounters. Not just Rich North and the time at the hotel room, but right here on the beach, after the welcome to the neighborhood party Paolo had thrown, his reward for getting screwed royally by Rich and his big cock. But all those memories paled, sexually, to what had transpired a few nights ago, when he’d met up with the sexy-as-fuck Parker St. John. Sex had been on the menu that night, for sure, and now, as he awaited him again, he hoped he’d his ass would get another filling by the man’s massive dick.

Paolo hated himself for such thoughts.

He hated himself more for not having the willpower to say no.

He was caught in between survival of the fittest and survival of the group.

This was how much he loved Aaron.

“Perfect timing, I see you’re thinking about me,” said a voice from behind Paolo.

He turned to see Parker approaching, and it was clear that Paolo was thinking dirty things, his cock semi-hard in his tight shorts, the bulge unmistakable. And it only increased at the sight of Parker.

“So, let me guess, you’re happy to see me.”

Paolo tried to push his cock down, but at the sight of Parker in his tight jeans and T-shirt, the way the material clung to his muscular body, his length only increased, bringing a bigger rise to his shorts.

“Just because I’m turned on, doesn’t mean anything is going to happen. I have to think of Aaron—he’s my lover, and my love.”

“Sweet, Paolo. Very sweet and loyal. Except I think only your heart knows loyalty. The rest of your body knows desire, as evidenced by your very hard cock.”

Parker came closer to him, so close Paolo could feel his breath on his neck. Parker towered over him, and the heat he felt nearly knocked him to his knees. A surprise awaited him, however, as Parker dropped to his knees, his hands hungrily grabbing at Paolo’s shorts and sliding them down his hairy legs. Paolo’s excited cock sprang to attention, as though it knew it was about to be sucked, hungrily, happily, by a mouth that knew just how to excite him. Parker’s mouth hovered near the waiting cock, and his eyes darted upwards to connect with Paolo’s pleading look.

Yes, yes, take my cock, suck it, suck it, now…that’s what Paolo was saying inside his head, and he felt sure that Parker could hear the words nonetheless.

Just then Parker whipped off his T-shirt, revealing his resplendent chest, the dark brown hair as thick and hearty as a bear’s. Paolo’s cock jerked at the luscious, hirsute covering, bounced excitedly as Parker’s hand grabbed at it, thrusting it against his furry mat. Sliding it in between his pecs, rubbing the tip against his jutting nipples; Paolo felt himself go all weak-kneed.

  “Oh, oh, oh….”

His heated, pulsing cock spurted uncontrollably, white hot come shooting all over Parker’s chest, droplets dripping from thick hairy tufts.

Paolo stared down at the man who was able to create a near-instant orgasm within him, breathing deep for air, for words.

“Now, next time I tell you I want something,” Parker said, “don’t resist. Because you know you can’t.”

“You’re right, I’m weak, I just want to come and come, and I want you to fuck me. Will you, please, Parker, please fuck me right here.”

“You know the conditions,” he said.

Paolo looked away for a moment. At the waves that had captured his attention just minutes ago, wishing they would somehow take him, release him from the conflicts of his world and let him float on their loam into oblivion. He knew, however, he would give in; there was no going back, not now.

“What do you want to know?” Paolo asked.

“What are you neighbors up to?”

“Trying to stop Wonderland Palaces from taking their homes mine included.”

“That I know. What’s their strategy?”

“Marc and Rich are researching Wonderland’s past, seeing if there is an old clause about Eldon Court that can stop Danvers and…well, you.”

“Forget about me for now,” Parker said. “How far back are they going? Ten years, to the incident at Number Two?”

“No, no, further back. To Wonderland’s settlement.”

Parker nodded, almost approving. “Good. Interesting. And Edgar and Jack?”

“Number Two’s secret, that’s their mission.”

“Figures. No wonder they landed in the trouble they did,” Parker said.

“Trouble? What kind? Are Edgar and Jack okay?”

“For now,” Parker said. “And what about Dane and Sawyer, those world travelers. They seemed to have dropped off the face of the earth. But they do that a lot, don’t they? Sawyer’s modeling jobs taking him away, and, from what I hear, Dane is getting himself into something kinky. Not good, not good at all. Those boys need to stay home and protect their livelihood. But of course youth think they are invincible. They will soon learn how vulnerable they are.”

Paolo found himself suddenly backing away from the sexy man before him, attraction taking a back seat to his ominous words. “I don’t get it, Parker, who are you working for? You seem to have put your faith in Danvers Converse and his plan to convert our homes into a resort, but yet…here you are, a part of Eldon Court, taking up residence at Number Two like it’s your birthright. And who knows, maybe your claim is true…that you deserve it. But can anyone trust you? Should anyone trust you? Us, Converse?”

“Let’s leave my motives to myself,” Parker said. “Now, Paolo, I appreciate all the info you’ve passed on, you’re a good boy. And do you know what good boys get?”

Paolo swallowed hard, knowing just what Parker meant. The condom he produced spelled it out clearly.

The man stripped off his remaining clothes, his huge, thick cock growing fast amidst a bed of bushy pubes. Paolo watched as the cock twitched with anticipation; his ass puckered at the mere thought of that tool hammering him. He lay down on the ground, his legs instantly pointed toward the sun, just past high noon. It would be sometime before they came down, not quite sundown but long enough for him to feel the effects of a powerful fucking he’d long felt denied him.

That giant cock pierced him with an angry thrust and a bellowing grunt from Parker. And while he thrust and pushed and urged every thick inch deep inside Paolo, Paolo just closed his eyes and clung to the hairy body above him, grabbing at thick coils of chest hair and at the rough patches of fur on his strong back, Parker howled at the sun like a werewolf unafraid of the daylight. Fuck, but this sexy guy was really hairy, more so than anyone Paolo had ever had, and he reveled in the animalistic coupling.

Parker thrust more, harder, faster, harder still, Paolo urging him, begging for more, more, every fucking inch, and finally Parker shot his load deep inside him, causing Paolo’s eyes to roll inside his head and wait for his own shocking climax. He dug his nails deep into Parker’s hairy back as orgasm wracked his body, once, twice, a third gusher shooting onto his own bare, tanned chest.

“You’re a fucking beast, Parker,” Paolo said between breaths.

“You know it. And I’m way better than Rich North, right, thicker, hairier?” Parker asked, his confident façade showing an odd weakness.

And damned if Paolo wasn’t confused, not just by the question but by how Parker St. John might have known he’d had sex with Rich, and also, why the fuck did it matter anyway who was better, bigger, hung, or hairy?

Paolo felt empty now, not just his ass but his soul, his climax having drained him. Parker’s massive cock withdrew from his tortured ass, and once again he silently begged for the cool water to take him away from all this inner turmoil. Again he had cheated on Aaron, and again he wasn’t sure why. There had to be peace, solitude, safety somewhere out there in this crazy mixed-up, fucked-up world. Just right now, Eldon Court wasn’t one of those places.

“Hello? Hey, anybody home? Marc…you in there?”

Aaron stood on the porch of Number Five Eldon Court, banging loudly on the door, hearing nothing but his own echo. Strange, Marc was usually home during the days—one of the few neighbors who was. But today, he seemed to have pulled the same disappearing act as the rest of the cul-de-sac. It was strangely quiet on Eldon Court; on his walk over, Aaron hadn’t seen any activity at Edgar and Jack’s, and truth be told, he hadn’t seen them in a couple of days. Dane and Sawyer, who knew what kind of hours and schedules they kept, jetting around the globe in pursuit of the mighty dollar. Rich was no doubt at the bank, and Paolo was out running errands. So that left Marc Anderson.

Aaron banged on the door louder and again got no result. He tried the door, found it locked. Not a surprise, given all that had been happening on their once-upon-a-time safe street. Aaron himself had his own concerns in the back of his mind, and wondered silently if he had locked his door.

He backed down from the porch and called out Marc’s name from the cultivated, green lawn, and seconds later a window opened up on the upper level of the beautiful Victorian house.

Marc stuck his head out and waved. “Hey, Aaron, sorry, can’t hear much when I’m in my studio. I’ll be right down.”

A minute later the front door opened, and Marc stepped out, his compact body in tight shorts and V-neck shirt stained with a rainbow of colors. He looked adorable, portrait of a young artist at work. Aaron, who was waiting for him on the porch, accepted the offer to join him upstairs.

“So long as you don’t pressure me to show my whole oeuvre.”

Aaron wasn’t sure he could even pronounce that word, so he easily promised.

Up three flights of stairs they went, emerging into Marc’s sunlit studio.

“Wow, this is beautiful, Marc, no wonder you spend so much time up here,” Aaron said, taking a gander out the back window at a lush view of the Pacific. With the window open, he could smell the brine of the ocean.

“Thanks, it’s a dream to work in such a place,” Marc said, quickly placing a sheet over his canvas in progress. He moved away from the easel, but that only made Aaron curious about what he was working on.

Looking around, he noticed perhaps a dozen other canvases, all of them facing the wall. He could see nothing of his neighbor’s work.

  “Paranoid much?” Aaron asked.

“When I’m working on something new, I don’t like to see my other work. The work should only be inspired by what I see in my mind, not what else I’ve done.”

“Artists,” Aaron said, rolling his eyes with mock sarcasm.

“Hey, I’d agree, if I wasn’t one,” Marc said with a laugh.

“What do you plan on doing with all these paintings?”

“Didn’t you hear about my upcoming show?”

“Oh, well, Paolo mentioned something about visiting Lauren’s gallery last week, but…is it really happening?”

Marc nodded. “In two weeks, so I’ve got a lot of prep work.

Lauren doesn’t want the summer tourist trade to miss out on my work, so that explains the elevated schedule. Hey, sorry, I’m not being a good host, can I get you something…cup of coffee, maybe a glass of wine?” He looked up at the clock on the wall. “It’s late enough, isn’t it?”

“I’ll have if you’re having,” Aaron said.

  “Be right back—no peeking.”

“Scouts honor,” Aaron said, his hand raised in the air.

“If you were a scout, you probably seduced them all,” Marc said, and then disappeared downstairs, his feet light on the hardwood steps.

Aaron walked back to the window, again taking in the amazing view of the ocean. He breathed in the ocean air, a sense of contentedness washing over him. He knew the feeling was temporary though, since in a matter of months this world of theirs could be just a distant memory. All of the residents of Eldon Court might be forced to sell, move, scatter to all parts of Wonderland. Truth be told, if such a scenario happened, Aaron wasn’t sure he could remain in town, to watch his home be turned into a money-grubbing resort. Well, to be witness to such a travesty was beyond him.

He was about to turn away from the view when two men emerged from the path that led down to the beach, their laughter caught by the gentle wind. Aaron did a double take as he realized he knew that laugh, knew the first man…Paolo. The man behind him, shirtless, powerfully built, and hairy-chested, was none other than Parker St. John.

Since when did the two of them know each other, and worse, why did they seem so chummy…and why was Parker half-naked? All those questions had one easy answer. Aaron knew his partner well, and his heart sunk as he realized that Paolo was again stepping out on him. While he could handle the sexual betrayal—he’d done it before, was guilty of it himself—the fact that he was fucking with, and no doubt being fucked by—the enemy, that was too much to absorb. He was about to rush out of the sun-baked studio and confront the two men when Marc suddenly reappeared, a bottle of white wine and two glasses set upon a silver tray.

“Ta-da—service, with a smile,” Marc said. “You okay? You see a ghost up here?”

Aaron realized he must have paled at the sight of Paolo and

Parker. “Nah, didn’t eat much today, probably low blood sugar. Stupid me, happens all the time.”

“You sure you want the wine?”

“Definitely,” Aaron answered a bit too fast.

Wine poured, the two neighbors pulled up a couple of stools, Marc sitting in front of his easel, Aaron at his side. “So, you want a sneak peek?”

“Only if you want to,” Aaron said.

Marc set his wine glass down on the wood floor, then lifted the thin sheet off the canvas. What he revealed was a splash of muted colors, and Aaron had to focus a bit to make out just what the hell he was looking at. It appeared to be two figures, and as much as they took up the bulk of the canvas, they somehow blended into the background. In the center of the canvas was a bright red heart, so vibrant it was nearly beating off the page.

“I know, it’s weird. I like to dabble in abstracts,” Marc said. “Two men so in love, they share one heart. Pretty simple notion, really.”

“But powerfully told,” Aaron said. He peered in closer, looking at

the two figures, one of them seemingly floating above the other, body darker than the small figure. “You and Rich? Kind of an obvious message, there, you’re the bottom. Rich is the dominant one—what’s that dark, fuzzy blur, his chest?”

Marc laughed. “He does have a great chest,” he said.

“Yes, he does,” Aaron agreed, remembering the time he and Rich had been forced to be with each other, how that dark carpet had felt when he’d plowed him from behind. Aaron scratched aimlessly at his own chest, where the hair was starting to grow back after a few months of constant waxing.

“But to that supposed dominance, if you want to see it that way, that’s fine, it’s what art is about,” Marc said, “but I like to think of it as two men independent of each other, able to be themselves, connected by their heart…their independence the key to their love.”

“Okay, wow. You’re good, Marc, really talented. You gonna put this one up for sale?”

“Nah, I think this one is going to be an anniversary present,” Marc said. “It’s a few days after the gallery showing, and if you want to know a secret, Rich doesn’t know about the show yet. So, promise me, you won’t tell him.”

“Mum’s the word,” he said, “In fact, I don’t think I’ll be telling anyone on Eldon Court, they all seem to have disappeared off the face of the earth. Where the hell is everybody?”

“Rich is at the bank, I’m sure you know where Paolo is.”
